Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had any additional information that could provide me regarding a Phase IV or Aftercare Phase. Monroe County currently does not have any type of phase after graduation and at the last conference I heard a lot of counties talking about an Aftercare type phase. We currently operate an 18 month minimum treatment court with three phases. If anyone has additional information regarding the requirements they have for this phase, I would greatly appreciate it. For example, are clients still drug tested? Required to attend court? Meet with their case manager? What are the differences between this Aftercare phase and the other phases? How is non-compliance addressed at this point?
Thanks!
Tara

Hi Tara,
Thank you for posting in the forum. Check out the DWI Court Phase structure that is posted in the Phase Board. NADCP has recommendations for a 5 phase program structure but is designed differently than what your are describing. I'm also interested to know how programs are continuing to work with participants after graduation from the program.
